About the Author
Robyn Collins is a highly experienced educator and consultant with more than 30 year’s experience working with schools.
Robyn is a former principal, English teacher, university lecturer and tutor. As a principal, she was involved in staff selection, in-servicing, finances and budget, building and design, enrolment and marketing as well as the day-to-day management of running a school – and, of course, strategic planning.
In recent years she has worked as an education consultant, conducting workshops in strategic planning, leadership, curriculum development, teacher training and learning. She has undertaken full school reviews and strategic planning for schools in the independent sector, as well as triennial reviews for state schools. She has also been involved in reviews of international operations and assessments of new schools for accreditation and capital funding.
Robyn is an experienced writer and researcher and is currently Editor of the Association of Heads of Independent Schools of Australia Journal.
Robyn has co-written written and published online books covering such topics as bullying and speeches for senior teachers and principals and is also a published author of children’s books.
Robyn is located in Melbourne, Australia but is happy to travel to assist schools.
